About the ELEGOO Jupiter

The Elegoo Jupiter has a large build volume of 277 x 156 x 300 mm enabled by a 12.8" 6K LCD screen. The 51 micron resolution matches competitors like the Elegoo Saturn but is lower than some newer large printers reaching 43 microns. An automatic resin feeding system aims to refill the tank when resin is low. However, it may be less sophisticated than solutions from higher-end printers. The Jupiter is built with sheet metal and aluminum but long-term durability is still unproven. A 5" touchscreen and updated UI modernize controls. A 1-year ChiTuBox subscription is included. Other features like COB lighting, interior LEDs, and an interchangeable air purifier filter help improve the printing experience.

Benefits of the ELEGOO Jupiter

Fully assembled - This 3D printer is shipped completely assembled, and is ready to plug in and start using as soon as you unbox it. You will still need to follow the included calibration procedures, but this will not take a significant amount of time.

Generous Build volume - A larger than average build volume means that you will be able to print larger parts without the need to split them into pieces and attach them together, which is especially useful with functional parts. If you have the room for the larger footprint, we definitely recommend going with a larger 3D printer, since you can always print small parts on a larger printer.

Fast Print Speed -

Disadvantages to consider

No Wifi Support - This printer does not natively support wireless connectivity, which is a convenient feature for both starting prints and monitoring them from a computer or smartphone.
